Warranty: Terms and conditions
TechDerma offers its customers the security of a manufacturing warranty against defective devices. The type and duration of the warranty are different depending on the country of purchase and the agreements between the customer and the seller agreed during the purchase/sale period.
The meesma warranty will be provided in accordance with the regulations of the country where the device was sold and will be valid from the date indicated on the invoice.
For professional users and home users (consumers), the warranty for new devices is 3 years, except for the battery. This warranty could be extended by purchasing a 2-year extension, except for the battery. For reconditioned devices the warranty is 12 months and cannot be extended.
The battery warranty will be 12 months, not subject to extension.

If you have a problem with your meesma device, and it has occurred due to transportation from the distributor to your premises, please contact the distributor or seller. What the warranty covers and how to proceed
This warranty only covers the Hardware part of meesma. The software part is covered by a specific warranty issued by FotoFinder.
When a device is defective already at the time of delivery, if it is not a breakage or breakdown caused by the carrier, TechDerma will replace it with a new one, or it will be repaired at no cost to the customer. You must immediately report the failure to the TechDerma technical service through the website https://www.meesma.com/en/technical-support/ by filling out and sending the form at your disposal.
If it is a breakage or breakdown caused by the carrier, due to transportation from the Distributor to your premises, contact the Distributor/Seller within a maximum period of 30 calendar days from the date indicated on the carrier’s delivery note.
When the device has proven failures that affect its functioning the operation or performance of the device caused by defects in materials or manufacturing and that may appear during normal use of meesma during the warranty period.
You must immediately report the failure to the TechDerma technical service through the website https://www.meesma.com/en/technical-support/ by filling out and sending the form at your disposal.
The approval of the complaint is an exclusive responsibility of TechDerma and is made once the complaint has been analyzed.
Warranty procedure
Once the complaint is approved by TechDerma, the following procedure will be followed:
i.- The client will not be able to intervene in the device under any circumstances. Doing so will automatically void the warranty.
ii.- The damaged parts will be reconstructed, and the defect will be repaired.
iii.- If the device cannot be repaired online, the customer service department will explain how to send it to TechDerma to proceed with the repair or technical assistance will be provided for the repair in the field by its own or authorized external personnel as appropriate the case, or a replacement part will be sent to you, and you will be instructed on how to install it. The cost of transportation, in this case, will be assumed by TechDerma.
iv.- The original delivery note must be collected by the technical service after delivery to the TechDerma premises and leave a signed duplicate with the client.
v.- Damaged parts are the property of TechDerma and must be returned by the client to the headquarters company.
vi.- The cost of transport of sending the meesma device to TechDerma and the cost of returning it to the customer will be assumed by TechDerma.
What is not covered by the warranty
- Devices with serial number deleted, partially deleted or modified.
- Damage, deterioration or malfunction due to:
- Any inappropriate, inconvenient or abusive use of the device.
- Damage due to accidents.
- Manipulation, modifications and/or repairs of the device by persons not authorized by TechDerma.
- Incorporation of parts and accessories from third parties not authorized by TechDerma.
- Use of components not supplied by TechDerma (e.g. battery, Allen key, etc.)
- Wear and tear over time (e.g. scratches, external color changes, etc.)
- Any problem with the iPad, as long as it cannot be associated with manufacturing defects, if the iPad has been supplied by TechDerma.
- Poor maintenance of the device.
- Modifications that exceed the manufacturer’s specifications on meesma.
- Improper operation, storage and conservation.
- Use in inappropriate conditions, such as wet conditions.
- Any cause of force majeure, war, acts of violence or any similar incident.
- Any software issues, as the software is proprietary to FotoFinder.
- The warranty does not include coverage of accessories (e.g. supports, etc.) or the iPad if it has not been supplied by TechDerma.
There are no warranties that extend beyond the intended use of the product. Failure to follow instructions for use or unauthorized changes to the device will be void the warranty.
Damage exclusion
TechDerma’s liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the device. As a summary, TechDerma is not responsible for:
- Damage to other property caused by a defect of the device or improper use, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of property, interference with labour relations or other commercial losses, although we will be advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Any other damages, incidental, consequential or otherwise.
- Incorrect use of the device (for example, inappropriate photos).
- Any claim against the client, made by third parties.
